Step 2: Pre-shipment inspection, including flashing, calibration, and presence while the goods are being loaded
Because modules are usually paid by watt-peak, the inspection of the flasher calibration and master modules is crucial – otherwise, the buyer risks paying too much for too little performance. An inspection employee is present to monitor the entire flashing process and to record the exact module performance. Our presence throughout the entire process, starting from the packaging, the loading and sealing of the container ensures that there are no nasty surprises upon arrival at the destination harbor. The verification of any required documents is obviously included in the process.
The pre-shipment inspection includes among other things:
- Verification of the flasher calibration and the master module (tier 1, tier 2)
- Verification of the serial numbers and Certificates (e. g. TÜV, IEC, CE)
- Flash lists and other performance tests
- Reconciliation of the order with the delivery and logistics (quantity of modules etc.)
- Control of the packaging and loading of the goods
- Compliance with international storage provisions and freight guidelines
- Sealing and securing of the containers
